Role & Responsibilities

• Represent clients on site, acting as their eyes and ears throughout project delivery
• Undertake regular site inspections and produce detailed weekly or fortnightly project reports
• Review drawings, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Identify, raise and monitor defects through to successful resolution across active projects
• Monitor progress against contract programmes and report clearly on project status
• Highlight health and safety concerns and ensure issues are addressed by site management teams
• Attend site meetings and communicate effectively with contractors, consultants and clients
• Support NEC Supervisor duties where required across a range of construction projects

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience working as a Clerk of Works, Site Inspector, Site Manager or similar construction role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, technical detailing and Building Regulations requirements
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract programmes
• Knowledge of site health and safety requirements and current best practice standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong inspection reporting ability
• Experience across new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects in varied sectors
• Membership of ICWCI is desirable, with NEC Supervisor experience or accreditation advantageous
• Full UK driving licence with ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload
