Role & Responsibilities

• Support delivery of cost consultancy services from acquisition stage through to final account agreement
• Liaise with clients, cost consultants, and project managers to ensure coordinated project delivery
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets to support development viability and decision making
• Manage procurement processes and assist with tender evaluation and contractor selection
• Undertake cost control, reporting, and financial monitoring across multiple live projects
• Assist with contract preparation, negotiation, and administration throughout project lifecycle
• Engage with supply chain partners to support effective delivery and cost management strategies
• Process contractor payments and manage budget reconciliations in line with project progress

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum three years experience within UK construction as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Consultant
• Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and post contract cost management processes
• Experience working within consultancy or main contractor environments is highly desirable
• Exposure to residential or mixed-use development projects within urban environments
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
• MRICS or MCIOB qualification or working towards professional accreditation is preferred
• Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and support client relationships effectively
• Motivated approach with a genuine interest in construction and project delivery

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £50,000 and £70,000 depending on experience and capability level
