Role & Responsibilities

• Liaise with landowners to identify suitable rural grant schemes and implement applications effectively
• Deliver day to day management and professional advice across a range of rural estates
• Provide strategic advice to maximise income and performance of property and land assets
• Conduct property inspections and produce detailed reports in line with RICS standards
• Support clients with compensation claims related to utility schemes and compulsory purchase
• Advise on landlord and tenant matters across agricultural and rural property portfolios
• Assist with development land opportunities and associated planning considerations
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing consultancy support

Skills & Experience Required

• MRICS qualified with proven experience working within the rural surveying sector
• Ability to provide informed advice based on strong technical knowledge and practical experience
• Solid understanding of farming practices and the agricultural community within the UK
• Experience delivering valuations and handling landlord and tenant matters effectively
• Strong report writing skills with experience producing RICS compliant documentation
• Good communication skills with ability to liaise confidently with landowners and clients
• Ability to manage a varied workload across multiple rural consultancy services
• Proactive approach with strong organisational and problem solving abilities

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £35,000 and £40,000 depending on experience and suitability
• 20 days annual leave increasing to 25 days with continued service
