Role & Responsibilities

• Lead CDM compliance across projects from initial design stages through to construction completion ensuring regulatory adherence
• Advise design teams and clients on risk management health and safety requirements throughout project lifecycles
• Prepare and maintain CDM documentation including risk assessments method statements and project records
• Attend client and design team meetings both in person and remotely to support project coordination and compliance
• Carry out site visits monitoring health and safety standards and ensuring compliance with approved design strategies
• Support and mentor junior team members contributing to knowledge sharing and team development
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring deadlines quality standards and compliance requirements are met
• Promote sustainability and energy efficiency considerations within project delivery alongside safety objectives

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum of four years experience in CDM consultancy construction or surveying within the built environment
• Strong understanding of UK construction processes and health and safety regulations including CDM Regulations
• Experience working on high-risk or complex building projects with confident client-facing communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively with strong organisational and time management skills
• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate desirable supporting technical knowledge and compliance expertise
• Excellent report writing and communication skills with the ability to present clear and structured information
• Proactive approach with the ability to identify risks and implement practical compliance solutions
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across Architecture and construction projects

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £40,000 and £50,000 depending on experience within CDM and compliance roles
• 25 days annual leave plus Christmas break and additional birthday leave
• Hybrid working arrangement with one to two days per week in the office
• Travel expenses covered supporting site visits and project engagement
