Business Developer Manager - Knightsbridge, London

A business development opportunity offering the chance to take ownership of all in-house processes. Benefits include a salary of £65,000+, an annual performance-related bonus, health insurance and a 25-day holiday entitlement.

A successful boutique-sized design studio, with a wealth of experience in the design and development of beautifully tailored interiors for high-end residential schemes. Established 7 years ago, they have a portfolio of projects in the most desired London postcodes and locations overseas.

Following a restructure and with an exciting move to a new office underway, the team are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager, to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will act as the Director’s right hand man/woman and will be in charge of driving their name and brand forwards.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supporting the Director to locate and secure opportunities, through market research
• Cultivating relationships with key clients and consultants, to ensure the growth and retention of the business
• Coordinating meetings with new clients and directors
• Delivering communications strategies including media relations, speaking opportunities, internal communications and social media
• Fee proposals and bid negotiations
• Marketing and PR

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working within the design and/or architecture sectors
• Proven track record building and maintaining relationships with key clients
• Experience developing new industry contacts and knowledge
• Ability to prepare requests for proposals, proposal letters and presentations in conjunction with the team for existing clients and new prospects
• Marketing experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency developing and managing a social media presence
• Experience contributing to drafting new website content and press articles

Salary & Package

• £60,000 – £75,000 DOE and negotiable for outstanding candidates
• Discretionary bonus
• 25 days holidays (up to 5 of those days to be fixed holiday during Christmas shut down)
