Senior Associate Rural Surveyor/Partner Job Ayr offers an opportunity for an MRICS-qualified professional to lead rural surveying projects across Scotland. Role & Responsibilities

• Lead utility framework projects for major utility companies across rural locations throughout Scotland
• Secure project access and negotiate appropriate compensation claims directly with affected rural landowners
• Work alongside forestry professionals delivering woodland creation, management, harvesting and timber marketing projects
• Manage client, stakeholder and professional adviser relationships throughout each stage of project delivery
• Oversee land acquisitions, servitudes, wayleaves, compensation claims and renewable energy project instructions
• Complete property appraisals and RICS Red Book valuations for rural land and property
• Provide strategic advice supporting effective rural land management and informed client decision-making
• Contribute across multidisciplinary teams serving public and private clients with modern land solutions

Skills & Experience Required

• MRICS qualification with several years of relevant post-qualification experience in rural surveying
• Registered Valuer status is preferred for completing formal property valuations and professional advisory work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills supporting client relationships and business development activity
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across different professional disciplines
• Excellent organisation and agile task management across multiple concurrent client and project requirements
• Detailed market knowledge covering utility, rural, forestry, farming and land management sectors
• Motivation to build upon the Ayr office’s success and progress towards Partner level
• Practical farming, forestry or utility project experience would provide additional relevant professional knowledge
