Job Summary

Associate Interior Designer Job London is a senior opportunity within the interior design sector, based in London, Greater London, offering £65,000 to £75,000. Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design vision across hospitality projects from concept stages through technical delivery and completion.
  • Maintain design quality and continuity across presentations, drawing packages, specifications and site information.
  • Direct Senior Designers, Project Managers and FF&E teams to align creative and delivery outcomes.
  • Translate concept ideas into clear schematic, technical and construction documentation for coordinated project execution.
  • Oversee multiple live commissions, ensuring deadlines, scope, resources and budgets remain properly controlled.
  • Manage contracts, fee allocation, project programmes and studio resourcing to support commercial performance.
  • Act as the senior client contact, leading presentations and building trusted long-term working relationships.
  • Support bids, business development activity and external representation with consultants, partners and industry contacts.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong background in interior architecture and design leadership within hospitality and large-scale hotel projects.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior design role with responsibility for project teams.
  • Excellent AutoCAD knowledge with confidence reviewing technical drawing packages and construction information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint for reporting, presentations and client-facing communication.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign, for visual design development.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, design standards, consultant coordination and compliance requirements.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing fees, profitability, invoicing and project financial performance.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.
