Role & Responsibilities

• Project manage complex or large-scale fire safety projects from RIBA Stage 1 to completion
• Lead and mentor Project Engineers, Surveyors and Consultants across the wider project team
• Provide technical consultancy and design input aligned with latest codes, standards and regulations
• Oversee project budgets, invoicing, scheduling and performance monitoring across active fire safety commissions
• Take a key role in client and stakeholder engagement, supporting delivery of project KPIs
• Support business development and help secure repeat and new work through client relationships
• Identify and share CPD and upskilling opportunities within the wider technical project team

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum five years of experience working within fire consultancy or building consultancy environments
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MCABE, MIFireE or MCIOB, or actively working towards
• Strong understanding of fire safety design, applicable regulations and current compliance expectations
• Good knowledge of UK regulatory processes across fire safety and built environment projects
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff within consultancy or technical project team environments
• Understanding of building pathology, construction typology and materials across varied project types
• Experience with cladding, facades and EWS1 processes within fire safety consultancy work
• UK driving licence and access to own vehicle for project travel requirements

Salary & Benefits

• Salary offered between £58,000 – £80,000 depending on experience and technical background
• 45p per mile mileage allowance provided for business travel requirements
