Role & Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple fire engineering projects, ensuring quality and consistency throughout project outputs
• Oversee quality assurance of technical outputs and chair design reviews to maintain agreed standards
• Mentor and support engineers and graduates, fostering skill development and career progression across the team
• Drive standardisation of project processes, tools and outputs across the wider fire engineering team
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, supporting both technical delivery and commercial aspects of project work
• Build and maintain client relationships, representing the team’s technical expertise across project discussions
• Develop and lead initiatives in a specialised technical area, contributing to R&D and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience Required

• Hold an MSc, or equivalent, in Fire Engineering relevant to consultancy project delivery
• Bring significant experience within a fire engineering or building services consultancy environment
• Demonstrate strong understanding of UK building regulations and RIBA project stages across projects
• Hold Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, or be actively progressing towards achieving chartered status
• Have experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers within collaborative fire engineering teams
• Use strong communication, technical writing and problem-solving skills across technical and client work
