Role & Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple fire engineering projects ensuring consistent quality and regulatory compliance
• Oversee quality assurance processes and chair design reviews to maintain high standards across all outputs
• Manage project portfolios balancing technical delivery with commercial performance and programme requirements
• Mentor and support engineers and graduates fostering development and progression within the team
• Drive standardisation of processes tools and outputs to improve efficiency and consistency across projects
• Build and maintain strong client relationships acting as a senior technical representative for the consultancy
• Lead specialist initiatives contributing to research development and continuous improvement within fire engineering

Skills & Experience Required

• MSc or equivalent qualification in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Extensive experience within a fire engineering or building services consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and RIBA stages across multiple project sectors
• Chartered Engineer status or actively progressing towards professional accreditation
• Proven experience leading teams mentoring engineers and managing technical project delivery
• Excellent communication technical writing and problem solving skills across complex engineering challenges
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of technical and commercial performance
