As Associate Director (Building Surveying) – Surveying & Project Management Job in Manchester, you will join a growing team with a strong pipeline of commercial office instructions and an ambitious expansion plan within the Manchester market.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead project management and contract administration on commercial fit-outs, refurbishments and capital works
• Manage full project life cycles including feasibility studies, design coordination, procurement and on-site delivery
• Deliver professional building surveying services including acquisition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidations
• Provide technical advice to landlords, occupiers and investors across commercial property portfolios
• Oversee compliance, risk management and quality assurance across multiple concurrent projects
• Support business development activity and contribute to client relationship management
• Mentor junior surveyors, promoting best practice and high professional standards

Skills & Experience Required

• MRICS qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in commercial building surveying
• Strong track record delivering both project management and professional surveying instructions
• Experience acting as Contract Administrator under JCT contracts
• Sound knowledge of dilapidations strategy, technical due diligence and refurbishment delivery
• Commercially astute with confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage junior team members
• Ambition to operate at senior level within a growing consultancy environment
