Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and implement long term building surveying strategies aligned with wider business objectives and market opportunities
• Deliver professional surveying services including dilapidations, technical due diligence and acquisition surveys across varied property portfolios
• Manage project based work including specification writing, procurement processes and contract administration responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards and environmental requirements across all instructions
• Identify opportunities for service growth, contributing to business development and regional expansion initiatives
• Support and mentor junior team members, enhancing technical capability and encouraging professional development
• Introduce innovative methodologies including BIM integration, data analysis tools and modern surveying technologies
• Act as a key client contact, providing expert advice and maintaining strong long term professional relationships

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering both professional and project based building surveying services across commercial and residential sectors
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, compliance frameworks and health and safety legislation requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, develop talent and foster a collaborative working environment
• Commercial awareness with the ability to translate market trends into practical business strategies
• Experience in client relationship management, with a track record of maintaining and growing key accounts
• Proficiency in modern surveying tools and methodologies including BIM and digital data applications
• Strong decision making skills with the ability to manage complex challenges under pressure
• MRICS qualified with a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites and meetings
