Role & Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawing packages to support project delivery across sectors
• Prepare design presentation materials including boards and layout documents
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, NHBC guidelines, and statutory requirements
• Assess project risks and support development of health and safety plans
• Carry out site inspections to ensure construction aligns with issued drawings
• Organise drawing information and maintain accurate digital file management systems
• Measure existing buildings on site to support design development and documentation
• Collaborate with project teams to support technical coordination and delivery

Skills & Experience Required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for technical design and drawing production
• Approximately five years experience within architectural practice environments
• Experience working on healthcare or social housing projects desirable
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and planning legislation
• Understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety requirements
• Ability to manage technical information and coordinate project deliverables
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration and project coordination
• Professional approach to technical design and compliance standards

Salary & Benefits

• Salary range between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience and level
• Support and training to achieve MCIAT professional accreditation
• Payment of all professional membership fees
• Flexible working hours with core hours between 10am and 4.30pm
