Job Summary
Architectural Technologist Architecture job in Hackney, London offers an opportunity to join an award-winning multidisciplinary practice delivering housing and mixed-use developments. This role focuses on producing coordinated technical information and supporting projects from concept through to construction completion.
The practice works across sustainable urban housing, suburban residential developments and large masterplanning schemes throughout the UK. You will support project delivery through technical detailing, BIM coordination and communication with contractors, consultants and suppliers. The role requires strong technical knowledge across RIBA stages 3 to 7 with involvement in tender packages, construction information and on-site coordination.

Role & Responsibilities
- Report directly to the project leader across residential and mixed-use architectural project delivery
- Produce accurate, coordinated and detailed technical information for tender and construction packages
- Prepare drawings, BIM models, specifications and schedules throughout multiple project delivery stages
- Communicate daily with contractors, clients and suppliers regarding technical and project coordination matters
- Prepare tender information, schematic packages and detailed design intent drawing documentation accurately
- Develop detailed construction designs and technical detailing information across residential development projects
- Ensure all relevant building regulations and industry standards are fully achieved throughout project delivery
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to deliver projects from concept through to completion stages
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent qualification is essential for the successful candidate
- Minimum three years relevant post qualification experience within architectural technology project environments required
- Residential sector experience with high-density housing projects is considered highly desirable for this role
- Full knowledge of UK building regulations and current construction methods across residential developments essential
- Excellent understanding of RIBA stages 3 through 7 and associated technical delivery responsibilities
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD experience within technical drawing and BIM project coordination environments required
- NBS specification writing experience alongside proven technical delivery standards experience is advantageous
- Positive and collaborative approach towards problem solving with excellent written and verbal English communication
Salary & Benefits
- Salary ranging between £35,000 – £44,000 depending on experience and technical project background
