Architectural Technician - Westerham, Kent

Based in the historic market of Westerham, Kent. This AJTop50 practice have an opening for an Architectural Technician in their purpose-built and modern three storey studio located only 10 minutes off the M25 with great transport links and direct routes to London.

Role and Responsibility

This role will see the successful candidate working predominantly on educational projects taking concept design through to fully detailed technical drawing packages for educational developments and provide general assistance to the Technical Department and site based teams, including liaising with external consultants and suppliers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 4/5 years professional experience working on educational projects
• Knowledge of ArchiCAD preferred, but crossing training provided
• Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Excellent technical detailing skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills to all levels of personnel
• Experience of site visits including liaising with contractors and clients
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists would be advantageous

The role is suited to a candidate with ambition and self-confidence; who possesses a determination to deliver excellence. Whilst educational experience is crucial for the position, additional sectors will be seen as an advantage.
