Architectural Technician / Technologist - Islington, London

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within a prestigious AJ top 30 practice based in Islington; who are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their diverse team on a permanent or contract basis.

Established over 40 years ago, the company is now placed in the top 30 of the AJ120 with over 140 staff. They are one of very few large practices to achieve a 50:50 gender balance, and welcome staff from all sorts of places and backgrounds, creating a diverse and enjoyable working atmosphere.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Architect and Project Manager, you will be working on a large Residential project in Camden with a value of up to £33million, working on the later RIBA stages of delivering the project to completion. You will be expected to create detailed BIM delivery plans and delivering these drawings to the Project Leader.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 2 years UK experience
• Experience working on all Residential project types
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
• A solid understanding of legacy CAD applications and practices, particularly AutoCAD

• Highly articulate and able to communicate to clients and colleagues on all levels
