My client is a busy and established architectural practice on Guernsey looking to recruit a full time Architectural Technician/Technologist to assist on a variety of projects, including work in the residential and commercial sectors.

Suitable candidates must demonstrate the relevant qualifications and have a minimum of 4 years professional experience. AutoCAD literacy is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be highly proficient at technical drawing and detailing, with a good eye for producing details that would turn into attractive and high-quality buildings. It would be beneficial to your application but not essential to have experience of more traditional styles and methods of construction.

This is an exciting opportunity for the chosen candidate to gain some experience working for a highly regarded practice with a diverse portfolio of projects, within a beautiful Channel Island setting. Commuting from the UK is encouraged and candidates would most likely need to find week-day lodgings on Guernsey and commute home at weekends if desired.

This is a contract role and the term of employment will run from a minimum of 2 months, at a competitive rate. There is also the opportunity for working overtime.

If you have the required skills and experience for this role please forward your CV ASAP to jenni.bennett@hunterdunning.co.uk (If you have any examples of work, please email these also).
