Architectural Technician- Swindon, Wiltshire

** I am currently looking to recruit an Architectural technician to join an international Interior retailer to work on the design of their retail and residential developments in the head office near Swindon. The company has grown in the last twenty years to a team of over 800 based in the UK and internationally. Offering a complete design solution to their clients be it Architectural, interior design or the design bespoke furniture items mainly in the rustic chic style.
They are currently looking for an Architectural Technician to join the design team to work on the design and fitout of their shop units and residential developments.

Role & Responsibilities

You will work as part of the design team to develop store and residential build concepts. These projects would involve new build and renovation sites.
You would be involved in the production of planning drawings,
full detailed drawing packages
Detailed drawings for design features such as staircase and fitted joinery.
Attend regular site visits
Work closely with the interior design team to develop projects in the company style

Required Skills & Experience

Be CIAT or MCIAT accredited
Have experience in AutoCAD, Revit and Photoshop
Excellent technical detailing ability
Experience in the use of residential and commercial projects would be highly advantages.

Salary & Package

The role would offer a salary between £32,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
Additionally to that they would offer 33 days holiday, cycle to work scheme, Childcare vouchers, Gym membership and company sponsored discount schemes with a number of the UK leading retailers.
