Job Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist to join a respected architectural practice in Liphook, Hampshire. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 with a hybrid working pattern (three days in the office, two days flexible), focusing on UK-based projects across high-end residential, heritage, and listed buildings. The role sits within the Architecture sector and requires a minimum of five years’ professional UK experience.

The practice operates from its studio in Liphook, Hampshire, and delivers projects including bespoke residential, heritage, and conservation works, reflecting a deep commitment to architectural quality and craft.

Role & Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using ArchiCAD
• Prepare planning, building regulation, and construction drawings
• Coordinate design information with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Support the project team across all RIBA stages
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and relevant standards
• Contribute to problem-solving and design development.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience on UK projects (essential)
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations (essential)
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with high-end residential, heritage and listed projects (desirable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A keen eye for detail and proactive, solution-focused approach.
