Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawing packages ensuring accuracy, coordination and compliance with project requirements
  • Create design presentation materials including layout drawings and boards to support project communication and approvals
  • Ensure all technical outputs comply with UK building regulations, NHBC standards and relevant statutory requirements
  • Carry out site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with approved design information
  • Assess project risks and prepare health and safety documentation in accordance with current legislation
  • Organise and maintain drawing files including structured documentation and regular data management processes
  • Measure existing buildings on-site to support accurate survey information and project development stages

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum two years experience within a UK architectural practice delivering technical drawing packages
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong technical drawing and detailing capability across residential projects
  • Good knowledge of UK building regulations, construction standards and compliance requirements
  • Experience working on UK residential projects with understanding of typical construction methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring accuracy across drawings, documentation and technical coordination tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while managing individual responsibilities effectively
  • Good organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines consistently
  • Willingness to attend site visits and engage with project teams throughout delivery stages
