Architectural Technician (Residential Project Experience) - WC1, London

An excellent opportunity as an Architectural Technician Working for an up and coming private property investment & development firm has arose. They have a very strong portfolio of residential schemes completed and in progress; and a healthy-looking pipeline of future projects. Established in 2015, this privately-owned firm purchase property before developing it and selling it on. Typically, they will purchase freehold units and convert in to apartments, with each scheme ranging from 4 – 14 units and £500,000 – £5million in value.
They are rapidly expanding, and the successful candidate will be part of a vibrant office which has the potential to dominate the property market for years to come.

Role & Responsibilities

• To work on RIBA stages 4-7 alongside Architects and Project Managers.
• To work closely with the Director to deliver multiple residential projects.
• Consistently produce technical constructional details to a high standard.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working on medium scaled residential developments.
• Strong Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and constructional detailing.
• Experience in producing tender and construction packages.
• Experience in building contracts and contractual monitoring.
• A high level of proficiency in CAD (Vectorworks preferred)
• Technically minded with excellent detailing skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Able to work well as part of a small team.

Salary & Package

The successful applicant will be offered a salary between £35,000 – £37,000 plus a statutory pension.
