Our client was established in 1996 and is a private practice Architectural firm whose primary focus has been the design of transport infrastructure projects. This has involved a diverse range of commissions incorporating, urban design, many alterations to listed buildings, residential proposals, retail and commercial development opportunities, product design, capacity studies (crowd management – including work on the 2012 Olympics) for transport integration purposes and, over the last 2 years, accessibility assessments and audits for Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliance.
In addition to the above our client is currently working on a number of discrete residential projects including ‘self-build’.
As a practice they are concerned that the work they undertake is ‘sustainable’. They subscribe to the view that their efforts must equitably respect the needs of both present and future generations.
They are also committed to the concept of cities as cultural, intellectual and creative hubs that are essential to mankind’s continued development – (hence their focus on the design of integrated transport systems).
Our client is now looking to employ an Architectural Technician to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will have the ability to run jobs have excellent detailing ability, specification and report writing and have a passion for architecture.
