This award-winning developer has a focus on the production of new communities and the promotion of sustainability. By joining the design team, you will be working closely alongside the planning, design, building and sales teams. With a sole focus on housing developments, projects vary in size from 7 to 1000 homes. Due to an increase in current project sizes and continued success within the business, they are looking to recruit an Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Working on the production of detailed working drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details
• Produce, develop and review specifications
• Liaise with, and input relevant information from other consultants and suppliers
• Work closely with the production team to meet project deadlines
• Review technical information for best value engineered solutions and compliance with the specification and current standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Highly skilled in the use of AutoCAD
• Experience in the use of Revit would be essential
• Possess good knowledge of residential construction methods, UK Building Regulations and NHBC Standards
• Experience of working with a developer or Architectural practice on residential projects would be essential
• Suitably qualified to a relevant HNC, HND or Degree level
• Able to produce high quality work within project time frames
• Desire for continued professional development
  • To have good spoken and written communication skills
• Excellent detailing ability
  • To hold a full clean driving licence.
