Architectural Technician (Contract) - Winchester, Hampshire

Our client is a small private practice in Hampshire and provides architectural services throughout the UK.

Their aims and objectives are to provide innovative solutions whatever the size and complexity of the project by means of the latest technology and developments within the industry.

The practice is currently undertaking a number of residential commissions from extensions, work in conservation areas, new build and consultancy work. Experience is borne through working with a number of architectural practices throughout the UK on residential, public, commercial and industrial projects.

Our client is now looking to recruit an Architectural Technician on a contract basis for 2-3 months from February 2009.

The successful candidate will ideally be HNC qualified, or equivalent, with previous experience within an architectural practice. Previous experience on Residential projects is essential.

You will have good knowledge of current UK Building Regulations with previous construction experience. Ability to produce working drawing packages is essential.

You must be a committed, sociable individual with ability to work well both in a team and under your own initiative.

This position can be home or office based but applicants must be able to attend office based meetings when required.
