Architectural Technician (Contract) – Chichester, West Sussex

Due to current work flow my client has an urgent need for an Architectural Technician to join the practice based near Chichester for an initial contract of 2 to 3 months.

Operating from an open plan office in a beautiful barn conversion, the practice is situated in a picturesque rural setting, on the outskirts of Chichester. This well-established practice is made up of 8 staff members, all of which predominantly work across Educational and Residential sectors. These projects range anywhere from £50,000 – £10 million.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working in a sociable team on a variety of projects, primarily on education and residential. The role will initially consist of working on projects from planning consent to working drawing packages.

Required Skills & Experience

My client is looking for a competent, self-motivated individual, who has the ability to confidently produce working drawing packages without supervision.

Experience in the production of working drawing packages knowledge of UK building regulations.
Ability in Autocad, Word, and Excel is essential, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Revit would be beneficial.
Experience with Education and or Residential projects would be highly beneficial.

Salary & Package

This role offers an hourly rate of between £15 – £30 per hour dependant on experience
