Architectural Technician – Cheshire

My client is one of the largest house-building developers in the UK, established for over 40 years with around 900 staff, and operating across the North West, Eastern, Midlands, South Midlands, Western, Southern and South West regions.

Due to an increase in live projects they are currently looking to recruit an Architectural Technician who is passionate about good quality house-building. The practice is passionate about supporting training and development across the company and promoting from within – so there are lots of opportunities to progress.

Role & Responsibilities

For my client, architecture is about designing beautiful homes and creating working drawings for contractors to follow. Therefore, you will be working with architects, suppliers and craftsmen, to produce the plans and drawings across a variety of residential developments.

Joining a team of two senior technicians, two architectural assistants and reporting to the Design Manager, you will be expected able to work on projects from concept to completion, with a focus on project management, and handling site queries.

Required Skills & Experience
Excellent drawing and design skills
Photoshop and AutoCAD experience
A good understanding of construction processes
An interest in the housebuilding industry is desirable
Good presentation skills, teamworking and organisation abilities.
