Architectural Technician - Billingshurst, West Sussex

A Successful and growing, privately owned Housing developer, based in a purpose built office in the countryside of West Sussex, now seek an Architectural technician to join their in-house technical team.

The Company was established 12 years ago, and due to careful planning and management, they are now a major strategic land owner. By joining the technical team, you will be working closely alongside the planning, design, building and sales teams. With a sole focus on housing developments, projects vary in size from 7 to 600 homes. Their technical team is currently made up of 6 people, however due to an increase in current project sizes and continued success within the business, they are looking to introduce a new Architectural Technician to the team.

Role & Responsibilities

This role will require you to report directly to both the Senior Technician and Technical Manager. You will be working on a variety of housing and site-specific projects across the UK and will be required to produce drawings to a high standard using AutoCAD. The company will offer additional training and support to the successful applicant, where they will assist as much as they can to help adapt to the company style.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Experience working on UK based residential projects
• Over 1 years post qualification experience
• Due to the location, you will require your own transport

Salary & Package

This role offers a salary of between £25,000 and £30,000, depending on experience. In addition to this competitive salary, the practice will also offer an annual bonus scheme and a holiday allowance of 21 days, excluding bank holidays.
