Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the technical design stage of a large residential development, contributing to coordinated RIBA Stage 4 delivery
  • Prepare and manage CAD drawings using established studio templates ensuring clarity and consistency across packages
  • Develop detailed construction drawings including typical details and key sections in coordination with project teams
  • Collaborate closely with Project Architect, consultants, and contractors to ensure integration of all design information
  • Apply technical knowledge of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials within project delivery
  • Assist in producing accurate and compliant technical design packages aligned with current standards and regulations
  • Coordinate technical information across disciplines ensuring all drawings are fully integrated and buildable

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum two years UK experience working on residential architectural projects with strong technical focus
  • Expert user of AutoCAD with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and coordinated technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and material application
  • Experience working at technical design stages including preparation of construction information and drawing packages
  • Clear communication skills with experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
  • Ability to work efficiently within deadlines while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working on London-based projects with understanding of local planning and construction requirements
  • Immediately available to start and commit to a fixed-term contract between three to six months
