Architectural Designer Job in Manhattan, New York, USA

Architectural Designer job with a leading multidisciplinary design firm based near Union Square, New York. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience working on high-end hospitality projects (hotels & F&B). This position will see you working on all phases of prestigious projects across the USA!

Established over 30 years ago, our client now has around 300 members of staff working from several offices across the US and Europe. The practice is well-known and frequently recognized for its high-end projects, particularly within the hospitality sector. They now seek an experienced Architectural Designer with a strong background in hospitality or cultural projects to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role & Responsibilities

• Production of construction drawing packages for high-end hospitality projects
• Working through all phases of projects from concept to construction
• Site visits, including small-scale surveys, production of field reports, and post-completion punch lists.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 3+ years of industry experience working in high-end hospitality or cultural projects
• A university-level degree
• Education project experience is a bonus
• Experience in all project phases from concept to construction
• Strong technical and conceptual design skills
• AutoCAD and Adobe Suite skills are essential
• Ability to mentor junior employees and collaborate with seniors on projects
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be eligible to work in the USA.
