This is the perfect opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant with a passion for hospitality & leisure schemes, to join the designers of one of the most popular F&B chains on the high street today.

Based in Southwark, London, this highly creative and multidisciplinary practice, specialises in restaurant, retail & residential projects and incorporate their own bespoke, product designs into every commission they work on. As a small and design led practice, they are driven to produce site specific design with an environmental consciousness at heart. They are known for the eclectic aesthetic and are constantly innovating by finding forward-thinking solutions for every project. Their experience and quirky designs also transfer into pop up retail and public art projects. Their aim is to allow the public enjoy their spaces as a whole.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful applicant with be working mainly on restaurant projects in the UK and occasional retail schemes. The average project values ranging from £30,000 to £1 million+. You will become part of a close-knit team of 8, therefore, you must have superb interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work individually and as part of a team. A sound technical knowledge and a passion and flair for design are also necessary. Working alongside other junior team members, you will report to both, the Senior Architects and Directors.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years UK and PQE experience
  • Professional experience within restaurant / bar / hospitality / retail / public art sectors
  • A strong creative nature
  • Fantastic technical knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks and knowledge of Rhino
  • An in-depth understanding of all aspects of design
  • Confident working independently
  • A flair for design

Salary & Package

£25,000 – £30,000 DOE
