Job Summary

This Architectural Assistant Part II Job in SW London offers the opportunity to join a RIBA chartered Architecture practice working on high-end residential, hospitality and listed building projects. The studio delivers both new build and refurbishment schemes across the UK and overseas. You will support the design and technical delivery of prestigious projects from concept through to construction.

This job would suit a Part II Architectural Assistant seeking to expand their experience in prime residential and hospitality work within a collaborative studio environment.

About the Company

This established architecture practice specialises in high-quality projects in the UK and overseas. Their portfolio of UK based schemes includes masterplanning of major estates, new residential villas and apartments, and the refurbishment of Grade I and II listed buildings in Central London. Internationally, the practice delivers new build hotels, resorts and private residences.

The team combines strong design thinking with technical expertise and detailed construction knowledge. You will be joining a studio that values design excellence, technical rigour and long-term client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Preparing designs and construction information for high-end residential and hospitality projects
  • Developing concept proposals as well as detailed and technical design packages
  • Preparing planning documentation and coordinating information with consultant teams
  • Producing tender information and full construction documentation including drawings and NBS specifications
  • Attending site inspections and supporting contract administration activities

As part of this Part II Job SW London, you will work closely with senior architects and consultants to ensure projects are delivered to the highest design and technical standards.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • At least 3 years professional experience within the UK architecture sector
  • Strong design and presentation skills demonstrated through a high-quality portfolio
  • Experience on high-end residential and or hospitality projects
  • Confidence preparing both concept and technical design information
  • Experience selecting and specifying products, materials and finishes
  • Site experience and understanding of the construction supply chain
  • Well organised and self-motivated with clear communication skills ^Knowledge of Vectorworks is desirable but not essential

Candidates applying for this job should demonstrate the ability to take ownership of packages while working effectively within a team environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary of £30,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
