Architectural Assistant - Burnham, Berkshire

Established for over 15 years our client is a property development and investment company which develops high quality office space for letting. Its portfolio is primarily located in the Thames Valley and close to Heathrow Airport, currently the portfolio contains over 200,000 sq ft of office space.

As well as commercial development the company also work on a variety of residential projects and care homes. Current projects include a high rise apartment block of over 150 residential units as well as smaller scheme of around 30 units.

Our client is currently recruiting for an architectural assistant to join the expanding team based in Burnham, Berkshire.

The successful candidate should be either a part I or part II architectural assistant and should have previous work experience for either a developer or within a private practice.

You will be responsbile for preparing and maintainging all drawings for the companies in-house building projects, to liaise with the directors, engineers, building controllers, NHBC advisores and specialists such as to produce all drawings and details necessary for:
-Planning submissiongs
-Building Regulations / NHBC approval
-Full constructions of the projects
-As built files and records, including CDM, HIPS etc.

Currently our client uses ArchiCAD but is willing to consider applications from candidates with a solid understanding or AutoCAD.

At times you may be required to work on multiple sites and as such should be a well organised and motivated.

For this position our client is offering an attractive salary circa £30,000, dependent on experience.
