A growing, busy firm with two UK based offices; offering a role with generous flexibility, good career prospects and competitive benefits for the right candidate.

A highly successful multi-disciplinary company with two practices, one based in Yorkshire and one in London. They operate in 3 core sectors, including architectural services, surveying and have a specialist residential arm of the business.

Their architectural portfolio of work stretches across numerous industry sectors, with both private and public sector clients ranging from multi-national blue chip companies to individual developers. Recent projects include a large scale residential-led mixed-use scheme, a 114-bed 4-star hotel, a 40-unit retirement-home project and an office renovation for a prominent client. Other sectors include education, retail, sports/leisure and industrial.

Role & Responsibilities

The role is offered on a permanent basis and will require the candidate to work on a variety of small to medium scale residential projects, circa 40-60 units each, mostly for developer clients. There may be the opportunity to move on and work on other projects further down the line.

  • Run current projects from tender stage through to completion
  • Be prepared to run future projects through all RIBA stages 0-7
  • Produce technical and construction drawing packages
  • Review and manage drawings by junior staff as and when required
  • Spend time on various sites, coordinating external contractors and consultants
  • Manage the status of each site, ensuring building regulations are adhered to and managing the project from an administration point of view

Required Skills & Experience

  • RIBA Part III qualified and/or ARB registered, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience post qualification/registration
  • Demonstrable background running residential projects through all RIBA stages
  • Solid experience producing technical and construction drawing packages
  • A high level of proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Revit would be highly advantageous as the practice is integrating the software in to the practice currently, however this is not essential and training will be provided

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be offered a salary between £40,000 – £50,000, depending on experience, in addition to the following benefits:
