An Architect job is available in Southwark, London. This is an opportunity to work on rail projects throughout the UK, prior experience within this sector is essential!

Due to an increase in work, our client is now looking for an Architect with rail experience to join them on a full time, permanent basis in their Southwark office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be working on rail, regeneration, and higher education projects throughout the UK
  • The first major project you will be involved in will be a network rail project based in London, however you will also be working on various other smaller scale projects
  • Working from feasibility to site stages, attending meetings, and preparing drawings to support the delivery of projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years UK professional working experience
  • Recently qualified as Part III Architect or have a minimum of 2 years PQE as Part II Architectural Assistant, Technologists will also be considered
  • Must have experience working on rail projects throughout all stages
  • Experience working with Microstation 3D and ProjectWise
  • Vectorworks BIM would be an added bonus
  • Good working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office
  • Thorough working knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Ability to work within a small team, where good communication and coordination is key
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Have a flexible and committed attitude to work
  • The ability to be able to work using your own initiative.
