Architect / Part II Architectural Assistant – Bristol

I currently have a role for a recently qualified Architect or an experienced Part II to join a AJ50 practice in its Bristol office for a initial contract of 12 months . With a variety of projects including residential, commercial and mixed use this is a great role to add to any CV and develop your career.

The team is made up of approximately 50 people spanning Architecture, Urban Design/Master planning, Landscape, Town planning, Graphic Design and Secretarial support. The office is based in the centre of Bristol, it is open plan and benefits from a friendly and sociable atmosphere.

Role & Responsibilities

You would develop designs, drawings and illustrations using Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop

Working on the design process of early stage planning applications, with a particular focus on commercial projects

Producing early stage concept design options to a specific brief as required

Preparing baseline site and context analysis, including photographic surveys of sites and their surrounding areas

Required Skills & Experience

A good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop (familiarity with Revit would be an advantage, although training will be provided)
A minimum of 2 years UK experience
Strong design ability demonstrated in the portfolio.
Good eye for detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
A willingness to learn new skills and techniques
Able to manage workload and deadlines
