Architect – Nottingham

My client is renowned as one of the country’s leading authorities in luxury home design and bespoke house building, and they are now looking for an Architect to join the team and contribute to the beautiful houses of the UK.

Offering a bespoke turn key package from concept to completion, these property specialists build exclusive homes for those seeking something truly special.
This includes, stunning renovations, multi million pound new builds, and customers have included world champion sports personalities, footballers, and a whole range of successful people in their own field. The exceptional quality offered by my client has meant that the 4 most expensive developments sold in Nottingham in the last 20 years have been their creations.
Due to an increasing demand for their work, my client is now looking for an ambitious Architect with residential experience to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will be responsible for the design of high-end residential bespoke homes including designing modern new-build mansions or renovating and extending existing homes.
This is a client-facing role that will require you to visit clients at their plots to ascertain their requirements and their desires, and to offer both design advice along with advice on the practicality and limitations of their project.

Current projects on the drawing board includes:
– 8000 square foot house in London
– 15,0000 renovation in Nottingham – stately home
– Potential 15 new build houses around 3000 square foot

Required Skills & Experience

• Be registered with RIBA / Architects Registration Board
• Technical drawing skills with the ability to work in 3D
• Ability to use software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup and InDesign
• Have a working knowledge of Photoshop / InDesign or similar
• Have a good knowledge of the UK planning application process and UK Building Regulations
• Experience designing residential homes
• Have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle

Salary & Package

The salary offered for this position is £30,000 – £50,000 dependent upon experience. Additional benefits associated include statutory pension and paid professional memberships with continuous CPD.
