Based a short drive from the M20 and located near the famous Brands Hatch Motor Circuit, this practice are looking to take on an experienced Architect to work across a broad range of sectors and assist the team with complex planning and development proposals. Offering a four day week, this role is ideal for those with personal commitments or for individuals looking to wind down before retirement.

Established over 30 years ago this practice have grown from strength to strength and now provide a wide variety of services ranging from pre-application advice and feasibility Studies to negotiation and planning agreements. Whilst most of their work covers the South-East, they also do national work for more specialist cases.

Role & Responsibility

The role will see the successful candidate working directly with Town Planners and CAD Technicians to provide drawings from initial concept to technical design for a variety of house extensions, conversions and commercial projects. Additionally, you will be required to provide illustrative plans for large scale residential, leisure and agricultural developments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years UK professional experience

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup
• Ability to work individually and in a team on RIBA stages 0-4
• Display evidence of experience across a variety of sectors
• Excellent knowledge of UK and NBS regulations
• Must have a clean UK driving licence

Salary & Package

The successful candidate will be offered a substantial package, including a salary of up to £45,000 pro-rata DOE, plus the following benefits:

This role is open to candidates wanting to work a four day week with a minimum of 25 hours per week. The position could suit an individual wishing to return to work after a career break or someone approaching retirement who would like to reduce their hours.
