Architect Job Gloucester opportunity with an established architectural practice delivering thoughtful, technically strong projects across the defence and commercial sectors. This role suits an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist who enjoys running projects and coordinating teams through construction stages.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and run architectural projects through technical design and construction stages
  • Prepare detailed technical drawing packages using Revit
  • Coordinate design information with consultants and specialist subcontractors
  • Produce and manage NBS specifications
  • Ensure projects meet UK Building Regulations and current Building Safety Act requirements
  • Support project delivery across defence and commercial sector developments
  • Collaborate closely with internal designers, technologists and project teams
  • Maintain communication with clients, consultants and contractors throughout project stages

This Architect Job Gloucester will involve responsibility for project coordination and technical delivery. You will ensure design intent is maintained while addressing buildability, compliance and programme requirements.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • ARB registered Architect or CIAT qualified Architectural Technologist preferred
  • Proven experience running projects through construction stages
  • Strong technical design and detailing ability
  • Proficiency in Revit within a BIM environment
  • Experience preparing coordinated working drawing packages
  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and CDM obligations
  • Excellent communication and team coordination skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently while working within a wider team
  • Security clearance experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

  • £42,000 – £50,000 salary depending on experience
