Architect - Bethnal Green, London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Architect to join a fast growing, innovative boutique company based in East London on a permanent basis immediately.

Founded in 2014, the practice specialises in a large variety of sectors including; Residential, Commercial, Creative, Education, Environmental Design, Innovation and craft, with current projects ranging in value up to £4million.The team work as craftsmen and artisans, appreciating the feel of good quality materials, and believe that 3D technology, including virtual reality, 3D printing and BIM, can transform and streamline the construction process.

Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will start immediately on a permanent basis and will be working in a variety of sectors, focusing predominantly on the technical stages of projects. The projects will vary in value and you will be expected to work with software packages such as Vectorworks, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite, whilst taking responsibility of your own work and meeting project deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must be fluent in Vectorworks, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
• A minimum of 3 years post Part III, preferably in the UK
• Experience in using NBS Building/Create, 3DMax and Rendering would be advantageous
• Experience of working with all RIBA stages from 0 – 7
• Experience of working on contract values between £200k and £5million
• Experience of working on both refurbishment and new buildings
• Sufficient experience in the UK to steer a project through the construction process
• Excellent communication skills with clients, managers and other team members
• Have a flair for effective design and strong technical skills

Salary & Package:

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary ranging from £35,000 – £42,000 dependant on experience.
