The practice work across a number of sectors including; Residential, Commercial, Education, Master planning and Urban Design. Each and every project is rooted from an inquisitive design process. This starts with a firm understanding of the client’s brief and ends with a clear strategy that guides the creation of exceptional buildings and spaces.

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working on a variety of residential and education projects, working closely with the Senior Architect and Founding Director of the company. You will work across all RIBA stages, with a particular focus on the technical stages on a number of projects. You will be involved in managing site meetings, product information and dealing with NBS specifications, whilst also taking leadership when appropriate and meeting clients.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Part III Qualified or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years post part III experience in the UK
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of working on residential and education projects (Preferably in the UK)
  • Knowledge of all RIBA stages (conception to construction is preferable)
  • Experience managing site meetings, product information, and NBS specifications
  • Sound knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Experience leading teams is essential
  • Proficiency in Microstation is preferred, however training will be offered for the right candidate if you are already fluent in AutoCAD
  • Exceptional design and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written English language
  • Enthusiasm to learn and progress is a must

Salary & Package

This role is offered on a permanent or contract basis, with a competitive salary ranging between £35,000 and £42,000 subject to experience, along with a pension scheme. The hourly rate will be equivalent to the appropriate salary.
