Administrative Assistant Job in Bristol

Administrative Assistant job now available with a highly successful Architectural practice in its Bristol office. The role would offer hybrid working options with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Applicants should have office administration experience with experience in the construction/design industry being highly beneficial.

Our client was founded in the 1940’s and has grown to over 250 people across 11 UK offices. In this time, they have established themselves as an industry leader in planning advice, heritage consultancy, building surveying, conservation, and contemporary architecture.

Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the regional manager with fee and resource management using internal project management software.
  • Assist with monthly project reviews
  • Be a key part of the regional support team answering the phone, managing visitors and general office management
  • Updating internal databases
  • Document production such as Meeting minutes, certificates, and letters
  • Maintain quality assurance procedures
  • Work with internal, external professionals and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in using Microsoft office programmes
  • Willingness to learn ad utilise new systems
  • Good communication skill both spoken and written
  • Able to prioritize workload and multitask.
  • Enthusiastic
  • Some experience of construction or Architectural industry would highly beneficial.
